Help Using the Modal Valuation Calculator

In brief; the Modal Valuation Calculator is designed to estimate the potential cost of rebuilding a property based on the information provided by you and typical building cost data from Barnes Beagley Doherr (BBD), which is provided to Gallagher for a fee.

How to access:

To gain access to the tool you must have your email address registered with us against the Congregation, or Congregations you are responsible for managing. The email address we have on file for you is the same address that we have used to send you any pre-renewal or renewal information.

When you are ready you can click the button as the bottom of the page labelled 'Login'. Enter your registered email address when prompted as select 'Request'.

For security purposes the following message will then show whether your email is registered or not

If your email address is registered you will receive an email that looks like this: (You can click on the link labelled 'View Congregation Details' or copy the second link into your web browser window and open. They go to exactly the same place.)

The process of reviewing building:
  1. Accept the Terms & Conditions as you login to the tool
  2. You will then be presented with your Congregation's list of Building Assets ( not contents )
  3. You then edit each Building by updating it's Modal Category and Size in square metres
    • You can add any information that you want us to be aware of as a note
    • You 'complete' the review once the information has been updated and you click on 'Save'. You also have the option of selecting 'Ignore Review' if you do not want to link it to a Modal Category
  4. Once all Buildings have been either Completed or Ignored, you will have the option to complete the review on behalf of your Congregation.

Please Note: Once your Congregation has been marked as 'Completed' then it is unavailable for anyone else with an email address registered to it. We recommend 'Printing' your schedule to PDF by clicking on the 'Print' button; prior to marking the review as completed.

If you realise you've made an error after having marked the review as completed; please send us an email to jeffery.nathan@ajg.co.nz and we can re-open it for you.
